News from Civil Aviation Resource Network on March 11, 2023: According to China Central Radio and Television's "Gantaihai" official Weibo news, Taiwan's Mainland Affairs Council held a press conference on the afternoon of the 9th and announced the launch of the "Restoration of Cross-Strait Air Passenger Waypoint Planning". The plan includes restoring 10 scheduled flight destinations including Guangzhou, Nanjing, Wuhan, and Shenzhen, and 13 charter flight destinations including Shenyang, Wuxi, Haikou, and Jinan, in addition to the existing four direct flight cities. The waypoints of scheduled flights will resume from March 10, and the waypoints of charter flights will be implemented after the details are announced by Taiwan’s traffic management department. Zhan Zhihong, deputy chairman and spokesperson of the Taiwan Mainland Affairs Council, also announced that the "miniature three links" passenger transit will be opened before the Ching Ming Festival, and the relevant supporting packages will be announced next week.
